GRP or fibreglass as it's also known in the UK differs in many ways from other roofing systems as it's resin based and applied directly to the roof decking with a reinforcement layer of glass fibrous matting laid directly into the base coat then another layer of resin is applied and a cloured top coat to give the roof its finished look creating a seamless roof covering.
